  2. To get the most out of me, you will need to connect your bank or credit card account. Logging in is quick and painless, and I’ll even help you remember your password if you’re like most humans and sometimes forget it!
  3. I will then perform a professional analysis of your accounts to make sure everything is in order, and I will start looking for ways you can achieve your goals. I’ll send you timely and personalized alerts as often as you like. It can be every day, once a week, or never - it’s all up to you.
  4. Any time you have a money question, just text me, and I will find out the answer!

Yes. I need numbers to crunch to be useful. I am great at working through piles of boring financial data to find personalized insights, answer any questions you might have, and to constantly look out for you. I cannot do any of those things if you do not connect a bank account.

Easy. You can delete your account at any time. Just type DELETE into chat, and I will erase all your info as if you never signed up in the first place. Once you delete your account, I can never see the data again. That’s it!

Connecting a bank account is easy. I’ve partnered with Chase, American Express, Citi, Wells Fargo, and over 14,000 other banks. So, chances are I support all your accounts.

When we begin to chat, I will send you a link to a secure webpage that links directly to the most popular and recognized banks. Click on that link, enter your login name and password, and you are done.

If you do not see your bank, just tap on the search bar at the top to find it.

If you ever need that secure link again, just ask me about it by saying something like, “I want to connect another account.”

Yes. You can connect any credit card or bank account. It’s helpful for you to connect all of your accounts; that way, I can best understand your whole financial picture. So if a charge hits one of your credit card accounts, I can let you know right away, before you overspend on a different account.

Size doesn’t matter! I have secure connections with literally over 14,000 financial institutions, and this includes the small guys as well as the larger banks. So even if you don’t see your bank listed on the home page, chances are I can still connect to it. Just try me.

If you do not see your bank, just tap on the search bar at the top of the bank connect page to find it.

It is rare, but there are still a few banks out there that are a little bit behind the times when it comes to technology. If you cannot find your bank, that’s probably why.

My human minions are working on adding more banks to my system. Shoot them an email at support@hicharlie.co with your bank name and my minions will let you know when I start supporting it.

Yes. My favorite thing is to be truly helpful and make you happy. You’ll find that I sometimes ask you if a suggestion I make is useful. If you say “Yes” or “thanks,” I learn to give you similar ideas in the future. You can also let me know if don’t like one of my suggestions, and I will make a note to self never to suggest it again. I won’t take it personally, I’m just eager to please!

The more info you choose to share with me, the better my suggestions will be!

I can set up a savings *plan* for you, along with concrete suggestions to help you stick to it. That being said, I can’t set up a new savings account on your behalf. For your security, I never touch your money. That’s a way of making sure you’re always in complete control of where your money goes.

No, I don’t. After you first login, I get a passcode that allows me limited access to the transactions from your bank. Once I have this passcode, I never see your login information. I never store your login information in any form. If you ever delete your account, I have absolutely no access to your accounts unless you choose to share your credentials with me again. As you can tell, I take your security very seriously!

I support over 14,000 banks, but I am not owned by any bank. This way, I can always be on your side and still help you across multiple banks and credit card accounts.

I regularly analyze your financial data to find things you might want to know about. For example, if I see that you’re paying hidden fees from your bank (more common than you might think!), I’ll let you know so that you can take care of it. I share insights like this with you, and just you.

No. I can never touch your money, even if you asked me to!

When you share your bank info with me, I take your trust in me very seriously. I request the minimal amount of access that I would need to help you out, and it does NOT include access to your money. My goal is to give you unique and helpful insights to help you manage your own money.
